What about MVOC though? You bringing the bunny?

Yeah... I'll be shedding a few more pounds with the parts on route also. Very Happy

As for MVOC.... it will be there with 400+whp... or it won't be there at all.

The reason it's going is I've never once turned the heater or fans on in 3 years... and I hated the look of that box there, so there's absolutely no need to have it.

I thought about it for all of two seconds... it's like pulling a bandaid off.

Another small update, some new parts arrived yesterday. I bought them second hand but they're brand new and have never been used. They just have a few scratches from when the guy built the adapters. The 10.1's I was running worked extremely well on this car since it was so small but brakes are one of things that you can't really have too much of. The problem for me was I kinda always wanted to go down a size in rims, meaning there was no way I could run bigger brakes. With the car having the power it does, and being already retard low there's no way I could chance running smaller rims. Smaller rims would make it even lower and I'd have even more traction issues. So with the decision to stay with 15" wheels came bigger brakes. Very Happy

What we have here are a set of Wilwood DynaPro 4 pistons calipers, 11" Cadmium vented rotors, with a set of Hawk pads.

As I continue to build the car towards the end goal of AWD, I consider weight a little bit in the back of my mind. I've kinda always wanted to keep the car around 2000 lbs even once the AWD comes into play. A very tough task, with all the turbo gear, and extra drive train. Now I'm not trying to make the car as light as possible as it's already pretty light, I'm just being a little more conscious of it is all. Lighter cars need less hp, and are easier on parts. Very Happy

These are the specs off their site for this kit.

Weight comparison as follows:
Stock OEM 10.1" caliper/carrier 8.8 LBS per side
MMP Wilwood Assembly caliper/adapter 3.8LBS!!! per side
Unsprung weight difference of 5 LBS which = 57% in weight reduction per side

So not only did I get a larger much better brake setup, I shredded 10lbs. Smile

One issue I do need to tackle is fitment. I do not really have the room in my fenders to run even a small spacer as the wheels are already cambered in to fit with the ride height. Since raising it's not an option I have to make them fit. As you can see from the these pics is that it's very close, in fact touching on the ends. I have a few ideas that might get them to fit but if not these new Willwoods will be seeing a grinder. lol.

Lol. Where did you order your brakes from? I was looking into ordering the same setup through rpi equipped but if CO motorsports can get them I'll gladly buy from you.

If you plan on ordering for wilwood let me know. If I have extra money I might order a set. Stopping the vr would be a good thing...

Brakes look good Dave. They look like a really tight fit with your 15's. What's coming next?!?

Yes it's the same kit that Deuce had on his MKII which Chris now has.

As for what else is in store, nothing super exciting just gathering up parts to help obtain my power goals. I'll update as they arrive.
